Tonkean Academy is the dedicated learning center for all kinds of Tonkean users: from new users just wanting to learn the basics and admins configuring a standard solution, to makers learning how to customize and extend solutions with bespoke logic.
Through guided text and video-based courses, Tonkean users can build a solid foundational understanding of the platform and then delve into hands-on configuration and customization.
Tonkean Academy used to live here in the Tonkean Docs, but, to provide a better experience for learners, we've moved it to a separate learning platform.

The Academy course library is always expanding and currently includes the following:
Tonkean Foundations - This course builds your foundational knowledge of the Tonkean platform, including its core features and functionality, workflow automation basics, and entry-level workflow orchestration best practices. Tonkean Foundations is the starting point for all makers.
Introduction to the Intake, Triage, and Resolution (ITR) Framework - This course introduces users to the ITR framework, a simple but powerful model for understanding how work flows when one party makes a request and another party fulfills it. For Tonkean makers and process owners, this framework is especially important. It gives you a clear mental model for how to design solutions that are predictable, scalable, and repeatable. Without it, processes can feel fragmented, hard to manage, and difficult to improve.
Tonkean Maker 1: Basic Intake and Orchestration - This course puts your Tonkean and workflow automation knowledge to the test, asking you to build from scratch a working solution that solves a basic intake orchestration challenge. Tonkean Maker is an intermediate-level course that proves you don't just understand how Tonkean works—you can build working solutions.
Tonkean Maker 2: Advanced Orchestration - This course follows and builds directly on Maker Course 1—furthering your knowledge and hands-on experience as a Tonkean maker. Like the first course, Maker 2 provides a guided walkthrough of building and iterating on a solution. However, compared to the first Maker Course, Maker 2 delves deeper into the module workflow, how modules interact with one another, and how to create dynamic experiences for multiple personas.
Tonkean AI Agents: Technical Tutorial - This course introduces users familiar with Tonkean to the platform's core AI capabilities, including agents, the AI Front Door, AI auto-fill, and more. It teaches how to design, deploy, and manage AI agents that enhance efficiency, improve user experience, and give your teams more time to focus on what matters most.
